The Foundations of Prodrome Science and Cellular Health
Central to Prodrome Science is the concept of biochemical prodromes—early biochemical changes that can appear years before symptoms and are predictive of future disease or early mortality. Based on the analysis of tens of thousands of blood samples worldwide, Dr. Dayan Goodenowe identified these prodromes for more than 20 diseases and developed patented diagnostics and interventions to identify and reverse these negative prodromes, creating biochemical patterns associated with long-term health and longevity.
Plasmalogens
One of Dr. Goodenowe’s most important discoveries is the role of plasmalogens—essential lipids found in cell membranes, brain tissue, heart muscle, and other vital organs. Plasmalogen levels naturally decline with age and cannot be replenished through diet alone. Deficiencies in plasmalogens are linked to conditions such as Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, cancer, and premature aging.
